Um... Thank you! I wasn't aware I'd been away, though it's true I don't post all that often.
:)

We will be hard-pressed to forget your article of May, 2000. And, as the inside sources would have it, you were the only one to do valid research at the time.

Thank you! :)
Though it's sad to hear that nobody else tried to accumulate any facts about the case. :erm:

I didn't really dancy any of the endings.
JC's ending sounds like the borg on Star trek. Omar's ending---definately not.
The templars ending would be recoverable but still, a crazy bible thumper running the world hanging anyone modified---I'm not so sure I'd want him governing the world. The Illuminati ending was the least drastic. Although I don't think that it is right for one person or one organization to have worldly power, they didn't try to take away anyone's individuality, they allowed people to keep their privacy, and they didn't force or punish anyone for any religious beliefs like the other leaders. On DX3, I assume an event similar to how DX:IW began, JC's ending will have occured but something will go wrong. JC won't be able to control the Helios AI, or a large group of people won't tolerate the helios AI. Then the struggle for power begins all over again.
Just my two cents

About the ending merge. What they should have done if they were making 'spinoff' games of DX as they state is they should have made a game for each alternate future. That would have been really cool. Four games IW size would have been great. Probibly even 'ground breaking'.

I wouldn't mind the 3rd game to be based of the illuminati ending myself. That one seemed fairly reasonable.
Then again, the omar ending would be really interesting as well.

DX3 is almost certain to use the Illuminati ending, IMO.
Question: was I meant to recognise that pair of legs at the end of the Templar cutscene?
Keeper_Andrus on 4/1/2004 at 19:21
the omar ending is like the borg, not JC's.
With JC's ending, everyone is still an individual, people just have their minds invaded by a computer, who then processes all their thoughts and makes decisions.
The omar assimilate people into a group conciousness, they are only one mind.
