Tony Scott is of course the younger brother of director Ridley Scott.
I would be happy with either one directing Deus Ex.
As a student going into filmmaking they're my heroes.
Now does anyone know how to contact them?

We would need a pretty 'featureless' guy to play JC and as armcommander said, Keanu Reeves would play a good part. And the clothes he wore in The Matrix would be just too good.
Speaking of The Matrix, Hugo Weaving(Agent Smith) would be great for Walton Simons don't you think?

Wouldn't it be a lot more interesting if they tried not to make Deus Ex look like a Matrix clone? I don't think Rutger Hauer is physically right for the role of Gunther Herman,
Ralf Moeller who portrayed Haken in Gladiator has an uncanny resemblance to Gunther.
Plus he is German. Rutger is Dutch. I think Keanu Reeves is lousy actor and definitely
is to old to play the role of J.C., who in the game is 23. Now I am still not sure who would play Paul Denton, maybe Benjamin Bratt or Guy Pearce. Sam Shephard as General Sam Carter. More later.

Now it's time to name who will make the film.
Composer: Hans Zimmer(who else would you expect)
Production Designer: Arthur Max or Norris Spencer(the sheer scale of Deus Ex requires someone with a great amount of architectural experience, Arthur definitely qualifies.
Norris isn't bad either)
Cinematography: Whomever Ridley or Tony feel ok with.
Editor: Pietro Scalia(again)
Costume Designer: Marlene Stewart(The X-Files, Enemy of the State, etc.)
And that's just a few.
Does anyone know where the Ridley could be reached?

You know what would've been good in DX? Pictures of what Gunther and Anna looked like before their augmentations. :weird:
