What is the full install size for the game? The only option I have is 426 mb, which from what I can tell is correct? I just want to make sure I am getting the entire game installed, and I got this disk prior to the GOTY release, from ActivisionValue. I hope it is correct as I do not really want to go and play with the *.ini files. Thanks ahead of time :)

426 is definitely low. The full install weighs in at something like 700 MB. Did it say "OEM" or "Special Limited Edition" somewhere? Or both?

Yeah it is OEM 1003f - I gather that means that I do not have the full game?

I'm afraid it does. If you didn't get the CD with a piece of hardware, somebody likely "unbundled" an OEM version, which isn't strictly speaking kosher. Maybe you can try and exchange it for a full copy or something.
There have been a fair few reports of this on the ISBB. At least one person got the store to exchange it and to apologize.

Thanks a lot Bogeyman,
I have reached my friend who I bough the game from, he is as surprised as I was. I am going to work something out with him. While I wait for the full version Deus Ex is the next best thing to SS III every being made :(. On an interesting note, I did, however, manage to patch the OEM. I just redirected the manifest.ini to look for 1003f_OEM5 instead of 1002f. At least I have the latest patched "Speacial Limited Edition" hehe.

When you run the self-extracting patch file for Deus Ex, it puts a bunch of temporary files either in your c:\windows\temp or c:\temp directory. Whichever applies. If you look in the subdirectories you will find the manifest.ini. Just double click on it, then you can change the version numbers to install the patch.
