Hi, I'm one of the many who got the GOTY versions of the game and didn't get the soundtrack. Does any one know what's going on?
I hear that its more probable to get the soundtrack if you buy the GOTY version in Britain.
Does any one know what the deus ex staff had to make of it all?

Not as if you want it anyway, tis a pile of steaming crap on a warm summer's radiator.

If you have WinAmp, you can get a codec to play the music files anyway. You can get the link in the "games soundtracks" thread in General Gaming (page 2 or 3 IIRC) :)

That's a really great link, Sheep.
I should DL some pieces to compare them with my ripped music.
If they sound better, then... :sly:

I second that ":o" Thanks TheSheep !

They are of excellent quality, however I don't think they are interpreted better than the originals. Their sound is much more smoother than of the original UMXs, but I find the original gritty electronic versions better.
You can sqeeze good quality out of the original UMXs too, if you convert and encode them properly. Besides, this way you can get ALL music, my Deus Ex soundtrack has 50 tracks, 175 MBs - almost 2 hours of music!
I still want to download this complete GOTY soundtrack, maybe I make a
"Deus Ex Redux OST" audio CD.

The only music I like from DX was the main menu music, and I downloaded that somewhere a long time ago. Which other tracks are you interested in extracting?

Yes, I'd like to find out where you got 50 tracks from too. In my Music folder there are only 35 UMX files.
