Being kinda a newbie here, I don't know if this is old news already. I just realised the similarities today(at work).
The folowing scenes I am going to describe, could apply to both DX and Crusader(you have played Crusader, haven't you?).
[scene1]
You enter a room. There is a table with a computer. A storage-box. A door with a keypad-lock. Maybe a sofa, closet, chair and some other things too.
You walk up to the door and try to open it. It's locked. You look at the keypad:[please enter a 3-digit code]. You walk to the computer, activate it and read some e-mail. Nothing usefull. Dammit! You pull out your pistol or shotgun and start shooting things to pieces(well, I would). After having wasted some clips on a chair, sofa and a closet, you discover the storage-box. You open it and find: some credits and a few rocket-launcher rockets.
Hmm. You whip out tha big gun, load it. Take aim at the door. Hasta la Vista door! BLAM! There is nothing left of the door. The alarm goes of! Guards come running! You die! [Quickload?] Yes!
[scene2]
After you finished the mission, you are back at the base. You walk into the cafeteria, talk with some of your coleagus. Then you go to the medi-centre, get patched up. Armoury's next, you buy some weaponry for the money you found during the mission. After that it's on to see your boss and get your next mission asignment, and then it's on to the next mission.
Just wanted to get that of my chest.

Actualy, the Crusader was with the rebels already from the begining of the game while JC joins the rebels first after a while. But true. Both JC & Crusader were ex-cop guys turned rebels. And both are cyberneticaly enhanced.
Anyway, anyone know what the Crusaders real name was? It was never mentioned in the game. I think I read somewhere that Crusader was a woman tough.
Oh, and I read a while back on <a href="http://www.shacknews.com">sCarys shugashack</a>, that they(yes, the famous they) were gonna make a <a href="http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/12240/">Crusader movie</a>.

You're gonna be seeing this anoying signature every time I write something on this forum.

The Crusader is actually Samus Aran.
