did you maybe misspell the url? it doesn't get me anywhere .. and i don't wanna search it.
besides, i think it's good that the ps and ps2 gamers have the possibility of seeing dx, for it's really IMO the second best game ever (after thief, because thief came out first), but couldn't it be dangerous if one of the console giants (sony, nintendo, microsoft) got the idea and simply bought ion storm? the result would be halo-isch - and that'd be crap.
it's a difficult matter, but i think we should keep the core of great pc games to the pc - if anyone else want's to play it, they should have to buy a pc, too.

Yeah, I did make an error in the URL, thanks for pointing that out :)
As for one of the console giants purchasing Ion Storm Eidos Interactive are in the process of making Ion Storm a Wholy Owned Subsidary of theirs. (Basically buying them)

santa, i think ol' Warren would agree with you and opt not to sell out. he's a smart guy and would see where it would lead. and i don't think that Eidos would let go of a juggernaut like Ion Storm if they could.

The climate of the industry makes that increasingly impossible. The relentless truth is that consoles are where the money is (due to their inherent user and developer-friendliness).
