Hey guys, I'm writing this because I need a HUGE helping hand. A few days ago my DEUS EX CD scratched and it installs everything but a file, which makes it impossible to play the game. This file is called CoreTexCeramic.utx and is located in the Textures folder (is only 145 kb in size). I was wondering if any of you would be charitable and kind enough to email me this file so that I can still play the game. It would be a pain to buy another copy of the game just for a damaged 145 kb file. If you can do this for me, please send this file to heeven2000@yahoo.com.ar. It truly means a lot to me if you can do this. Thank you very much in advance.

not "Deux Ex", do you actually own the game, or did you pirate it (are you a taffer?)

Thank you so much to everyone who has sent the texture file so that I can still play my game. Except for the two guys above who enjoyed having fun with my "tragedy" I truly appreciate your help. And you HK Prince, you seem to be a very reasonable person, aren't you?

Hey man i wasn't making fun, simply stating that it seemed a little suspicious. You've got to admit, for all i know you might have downloaded all the files off of Warez, except for that one file. How do i know? But i'm not about to give a file to someone for whome i think might be cheating the system. Sorry, its just my paranoid nature -I play Deus Ex alot

Yes, it does look suspicious, not only because of the spelling, but also because that was your very first post and you're asking for a file. Don't hold any grudges against any of these guys, they're just looking out for the rest of the community.

No, I am not, the file I send you contains a warez scanning virus, once you download it will search for warez or cracked software and blow up your hard disk if they are there.
