Gaak! I'm at 2490 with all four secrets (and three optionals)... where the &$%*! is one -- more -- loot item?!
I've scoured and scoured. Garrett has become a street bum, crawling on his hands and knees, snuffling after dropped nickles and quarters. He's searching behind the seat cushions. He's collecting empty pop bottles for the refund. He's feeling in the coin-return slot of payphones (do any of you younger players even know what "payphones" are, or is that a lost piece of Americana?) Garrett's robbing graves to steal the pennies off the stiff's eyes!
This is so frustrating.

In the mines, I found a coal cart flipped onto its side. Behind it, I can see a stack of three kegs of explosives and a tunnel.
I can't mantle onto the cart; the ceiling is too low. I don't know whether I can crawl atop it via a box (if I can find a frobbable box) or another keg of dynamite, but is there any loot (or an optional objective) behind it? Or is it just scenery?
Thanks,
Dafydd
Edit: Can't seem to climb onto the coal cart; I think it's just a visual.
I did manage to find a lump of silver in the Maw warehouse, atop a medium-sized crate. Put me over the top on loot by a whopping 5 g! But it was enough to finish.
I ran the finish three ways:
1. Followed the Keeper and let him point out the book to me; ended without me being able to read the book.
2. Ignored the Keeper and went into the box; got the money from my client, who then left the room, mission complete.
3. Followed the Keeper into the hidden library, KOed the Keeper; returned to the box carrying the Keeper (didn't seem to perturb the client). KOed the client, used his gallery key to loot him of the collection I'd just gotten him. Even though I now had both the money he promised and also the collection, my stats were the exactly the same all three times.

Dafydd

I *think* there is some loot there. Do you recall the slope & caves in the mines that lead to the crypt ?
One branch will get you there.
Besides that : loot is everywhere !
- do some acrobatics with the vine in the Tricksters area
- check the top of all warehouses
- look UP in these places: architect & actress

Also, I'm not sure if you saw it, but in the actress' bedroom, there is a ring on the ground worth 100 in the shadows of the ceiling support.
Darthslair, that "rusty room with all the machinery in it" doesn't exist anymore, nor does its secret. :p It hasn't existed in any of the final releases.

The other side of that cart flipped on its side can be reached by
going into the burrick tunnels below. One of the burrick tunnels leads back up there, and there is indeed treasure on the other side of that cart.- prjames

Sorry Sk, I will update my notes. ;)

I agree. No more loot minimums, please. It's absurd that Garrett manages to save the world (again), but can't hit the showers because he's short a few coins!
Overall a very ambitious FM. Congrats. The split keypad for the garage doors was slightly annoying, until I discovered you can leap up into the smashed bay windows. This sped things up.
Was the talking mask a Keeper? It sure nagged like one. The overall story arc and multiple endings held together nicely, I think.

needed over 9 hours on the clock to finish it..
had a great time!!!

Finally finished this mission. It was very frustrating most of the way. I am not the brightest bulb in the box.. I had to lookup the word "fortnight" to finally figure out a code. If there wasn't such a lull in FM's being released I would have given up on it a week ago. Now that I made it through once. I can see the beauty of this masterpiece. I will be playing this one again. I won't do any ghost killing until I get the sword next time.
Well Done.

I'm currently working on a walkthrough for this thing, and I must say, it's right up there in the top 5 as far as difficulty goes. I'm doing a first run using the "infinite invisibility" potions, just so the AI quit bothering me while I try and figure things out. This thing is like a juicy steak with a good wine...you have to savor every bite.
