In the library there is a book sticking out. It makes a clank metal sound if I hit it with an arrow but it don't move. Is it supposed to? I just want to make sure my new install is working right. T2+Tafferpatcher...that's it. Looks like it should reveal a secret. Thanks.

That book is frobbable later on. You'll know when to go back to it when the occassion arises. :)

I have read through half of this thread and I can say that very little of the things people have been having issues with bothered me much. I liked the confusing layout, the cramped spaces (offices) and even the enemies. Even though I found no way to get rid of some of them, they were usually pretty easy to outrun if they were alerted.
I liked that I was often rewarded for "vandalizing" banners and windows. :ebil:
Loot was everywhere (which I love), and considering how often I just happened to notice a piece, I must have missed many loot items.
That laughing mask was so creepy. I only understood some of what it said, though.
I had a pretty long no-reloads game going which eventually ended when I ran too slowly when dropping off to a platform in the lava, which caused me to drown in the lava...
Eventually figured out how to work the potion lab, and made myself two much-needed healing potions.
I did not quite finish the mission on my own. Everything non-optional was completed, except that I missed 10 loot. Could probably have scrounged that up with some more work, but I was itching to get into the secondary vault, so I came here for help. I only picked up the numbers 3 and 9, so I tried 0309 and 0039. Learned a new english word from this thread - fortnight. :)
I may have heard or read it before but I did not know the meaning of it. Anyway, that loot item got me over the required amount.
Found 1/4 secrets - the one in the catacombs.

I played through this mission a few days ago for the first time and I've gotta say it's very impressive. One of the few missions I've marked as "5" in FMsel since I started using it. It has minor gameplay issues (opening the bay doors is such a pain... ugh) but for the most part this is one of the greatest missions, in my opinion. Very good mission flow, good objectives/optional objectives, good architecture and use of space, as well as a decent story with subplots.

The machine that makes sons of karras COMBAT BOTS stops working after it makes 2 of them. It does not start up to make a third one. Is this normal please? Also the water arrows is not disabling them altogether the red on it back is not going away. and when you attack it it still makes sound.
Is this a bug?

No,its not a bug. The readables should explain it. There is a mechanism you must disable before you can destroy it.

Only just getting to this level - very nice, but afraid I may have hit a bug after 3 hours of in game play!
The warehouse door 2813 will not open - earlier in this thread people mentioned entering the code then pulling the switch on the fallen control panel - but I have no fallen control panel! I even can see it in the screen shot on one of the early pages here, but in my game, the floor beneath the number panel and the poison plants is completely empty! No fallen control panel!
Is this a known glitch at all!?

I looked at the area and can't really figure out your particular predicament. You may want to check the

LW is not your typical go-here-and-then-do-this FM. It's rather unconventional in its approach.
Which reminds me, where the heck is ScaryKitties? He makes one kick-butt FM and then disappears!

I learned after reading the REST of the thread (duh) that the version I was playing was a revised version where he intentionally removed that control panel and made opening the warehouse doors easier and permanent. I just didn't have the power turned on, as it turned out.

need help, i have hit the buttons 9624, and yet the door 9624 doesn´t open, what do i need to do to have the buttons working?~
i have turn on the power and yet the door control system is not working for me.
