I'm level 60 with 50k+ DPs on my DH, soloing elites in Act 1 for Nephalem Valor to open chests. Fun fun. If anyone needs help getting to 60 message me and I'll give you my battle.net ID.

50k? The number in your character sheet is showing 50,000 dps?
What the hell kind of equipment do you have?

If he has the passive I'm thinking he does (sharpshooter?), it shows a dps that assumes he always has 100% crit.

I take it you weren't around when people were farming SoJs to trade for uniques and other high-level items, hmm?
Uh yeah thanks for supporting my argument.
Meanwhile in Path of Exile there is no gold. At all. It's all pure item for item barter. How's that for crazy shit.

A few things change between my extended hiatuses from this forum, but there's always one constant I can rely on: Koki will forever and always be a dumb fuck.
Do me a favor Koki... explain the difference between these two:
a) Gearing up magic find and running a boss a few million times in hopes SoJs drop so you can trade them off for the uniques you want
Or,
b) Gearing up for +gold% and running through the game to save up for the piece you want off the AH.
In what way are these two different? Take your time.

Phatose, add me and I'll show you. Azrael#1629
The fun part is the Attack Speed. Currently only 2.2 because Attack Speed gloves with the amount of dex I want cost at minimum half a mil. =/

Oh and yeah Epos correct. My DPS without the Sharpshooter buff is about 31k. The gear on the bottom right of my inventory is my Magic Find % Increase gear. I toss it on before I open any glowing chests.
Phatose on 29/5/2012 at 19:41
Damn. And here I was happy with 15k and 40% crit on my wizard. Long long way to go it looks like - a large fortune at the auction house no doubt.

You don't hope SoJs drop you retard. You run bosses for
shit you want. And if you get a nice item you
don't want, you can always try and trade it for an item you
do want with some other players.
Christ, SoJ is like half a dime in a world of runes anyway. You would run out of space in both stash and inventory if you wanted to trade for a high level item with SoJs, not that you would find anyone insane enough to agree to such trade. How about you shut the fuck up about shit you know nothing about, ey.

Now try it with a barbarian or monk.

And... you've missed the point again.
I wonder where all those items on the AH come from, anyway?

That article explains how,
before runes were worth alot, SoJs were the primary currency of high level items. Which just means I was right -- it was before your time.
