What did you do to be so malicious to Norton?

The menu options in dromed 1.19 don't appear to be working for me. I can create, manipulate brushes/objs and all that but I have to type relight_level or portalize in the command box or alter the level and try to go to game-mode to make it prompt me to update lights/geometry. Any ideas as to what I have fouled up?
From what I've read, the menus.cfg is based around the dromed deluxe package of dromed 1.18. (Check your menus.cfg with notepad.) Some of the commands in the new dromed 1.19 reference .cmd files that don't exist. While we're on the subject, I checked my downloaded copy of dedx01 and there's no .cmd files included from what I could tell.

It's a known problem, Norton always has something with this site, but you can open it, there is nothing.

You didn't install Dromed Toolkit before the v1.19 Dromed stuff? There's a note at the top of the menus.cfg file about that.

Argh. It didn't sink in that it was actually going to depend on files from the toolkit. I guess I thought 'based upon' meant it was inspired by the improvements in the DTK. Reading it again it seems quite clear though.
Thanks, The Watcher.

Did you ever look at your .bnd files to see if the bindings defined there are what you expect? Maybe that got corrupted somewhere along the line & you need to reset to the defaults, maybe?
Edit: hmmm looks like you are only interested in Dromed ... I don't know; I always use the menus and not the keys. Let me try my setup ... WOW!! I never knew that was there! (was it there before is is this a 1.19 thing?) But to answer your question, those keys work for me just fine.
On a little more research, I think that is supported by the DromEd Toolkit & you need the correct .cmd files. Did you install the DromEd Toolkit before 1.19?

Has anybody encoutnered a problem when shift-clicking a brush in v1.19 dromed? Whenever I try this the brush starts floating up towards the top of whatever window I click it in. :(

The thing is, I went and grabbed the dromed.zip, applied it to my install, then went back and re-applied v1.19 over top of that. One thing that was missing was the default.bnd that comes with the dromed.zip package. Of all the files I've checked, there's nothing that suggest those keys being binded to anything other than in the new menus.cfg from the v1.19 patch. Either I'm not being thorough enough in checking the .bnd files, I'm blind, or something else is wrong here.

When you install the toolkit, there should be a whole bunch of .cmd files put into your base T2 dromed directory: DoLight.cmd, DoOpti.cmd, etc.. Try a find on *.cmd in that directory. It sounds like you are missing those command files.

That's the toolkit I'm referring to.
