I did a search through various .cfg files but couldn't find the vbrush_snap command, so I wasn't able to change it.
Maybe you could try adding it to for example
dromed.cfg and then comment it out, like this:
That might be the same as not having it in there at all, but could be worth a try.

I've lso discovered that ctrl-clicking a brush causes it to immediately start shrinking with no other input. Getting super frustrated now because I was halfway through a map and finally making good progress. :(
Hmmm... from the sound of that it isn't the same issue I had. What happens if you Alt-click?
Edit:
Just to be sure: You mean "click" as in "press & release", right?

Taffers, Le Corbeau connected back on Ariane4ever !!!!
He posted this (roughly translated) :
The Raven is the messenger. From his perch, he watches the shadows who found themselves back.
DromEd.exe @ 0x14A701 change 02 to 01
ShockEd.exe @ 0x18EC11 change 02 to 01What would it do ?

No, I mean clicking and holding with left-mouse, and holding shift causes any selected brush to just start moving upwards in whatever window I select it. I can cancel the motion out by draging back on the mouse, but it starts moving up again as soon as I stop moving the mouse. Alt-clicking works fine, lets me rotate the brush as normal.
I tried adding and commenting out vbrush_snap, but it didn't have any impact. I aprpeciate the help, though!

Could you perhaps try with another mouse or change/update the mouse drivers!?

I know it isn't a problem with the mouse as it was working fine only minutes before I applied the 1.19 update.

... Ah! I have the command in my User.cfg:
Code:
;
;snaps multibrushes to grid, if grid is enabled
vbrush_snap
Could you have conflicting values set in different config files?
Edit: If I alt-left-click on a brush and move my mouse, the brush rotates in the window I clicked on. And ctrl-left-click resizes the brush. That doesn't happen for you?

Alt-left click roates as normal. Ctrl-left click shrinks the brush regardless of any mouse movement on my part.

Shadows? Sunlight shadows?
DrK on 28/9/2012 at 20:14
Oh ! That's a good point, someone must try it.
Then "ombres retrouvées" wouldn't translate as shadows who found themselves back, but as shadows which were recovered.

Yes, that message is particularly confusing. I would tell everyone to go into a HEX editor w/ a second 1.19 Executable and put those in... I mean, that's my educated guess. I'm wanting to try it out myself for laughs.
