I saw that last night, awesome! I have no idea how to define the zones in the worldrep space, though. Are they tied to roombrushes or something?

According to Malin76, they work like fog. Basically you assign up to 9 different settings for roombrushes.
9 different type of roombrushes, so 9 different fogs and 9 different ambient lights in the same mission :o

Yeah, it seems to be a replacement for the old "fog" flag in the local weather. If you look at the Weather -> local weather settings, there's new options for ambient lighting and fog in there. I've been messing with it in the cellars of Xavier's and I've managed to get it working by:
* creating a new room archetype
* giving it the Weather -> Local Weather with the fog zone set to 1
* made some concrete rooms of that archetype
* edited zone 1 values in Editors -> Mission Parameters -> Fog Zones
* rebuilt rooms, etc
I haven't tried messing with placing different zones next to each other or anything, but it seems much more reliable than the old fog stuff did (it works, without the need to sacrifice a goat each time, for a start... fogging always used to be my bane)

And finally the fog working well on Win7!

I can confirm the fog is working really well.Tried it in King's Story's first part :cheeky:

I see, so you have up to 9 fog/ambient light combinations to use on rooms then. Oh wow, I need to convert Codex to this new Dark so I can make use of that! I have dense fog currently in one area but would love to lower the ambient light there compared to the rest of the mission. Also, this will make daylight missions a lot better, you can have high ambient light outdoors, less indoors and very little underground. Kick ass!

I've a problem. I installed thief 2, patched to 1.8 then applied 1.9 and the game works perfectly. Problem is that dromed won't work. It opens, but when I open a fan mission or try to go in game mode it freezes. Does anybody have a idea on how i might fix it or what I did wrong?

Did you also unpack the new editor files? They're in a separate archive from the game itself.

I unpacked the dromed archives from the patch.
