Ok, I live in Australia (which is supposed to sell the American version) but I got one of those cheap re-run versions, the ones that only cost $5 or whatever. Anyway, the american patch did not work, but the european one did, which leadds me to conclude I have the european version.

Are there any major differences? I know the european version of fallout 2 did not have any children in it, which screwed around with the gameplay a fair bit and made things alot harder. Are there any reasons like that for me to seek out the American release?? thanks.
