Just wandering if there are any scripts/mods out there that make TDS a better game. I remember hearing things about a lockpicking mod that makes you rely entirely on sounds, an AI modifier etc.

Yes. There are. I suggest getting acquainted with the
Search function, only because there are many wonderful threads waiting for you that are fairly organized and go into detail about the mods.:cool:

I'm gonna go ahead and ask, is there something similar for TDP/TG and TMA?

For TDP/TMA there are Ultimate Difficulty mods to have almost paranoid guards (haven't tested it yet, but not everybody says it's fun), but otherwise none of the things to make it better affects gameplay (rather textures, high-res/poly objects, better sound quality and so on).
