Well she went to school, then she studied politics, philosophy and history. She found a steady job working for airline security while still working in politics in her free time. She used to have a boyfriend for years but they split up a while ago. She's smart, stunningly beautiful, very strong willed and self confident. She's 28 now and one of the most stable persons I know. I'm very proud of her, not least because I had some part in her upbringing.

Haha, no she doesn't know this forum, I think. Anyway I love my sister dearly and that was an honest assessment if maybe biased.
But the point why dethtoll asked was (I assume) if she maybe turned into some sort of emotional wreck, because we ignored her meltdowns at 5 years old, which she definitely has not.
We would also sometimes just walk on slowly, which gave her time to notice that no one cared about her tantrum. Often she would get up herself then and come running after us. Still crying but not defiant any more. Whereas if anyone spent attention to her screaming she would turn up the valve of fury.
