The first expansion to Dishonored, entitled The Knife Of Dunwall will be released on April 16th. This campaign will be centered around Daud.

Have they said anything to the effect of "You're not going to be judge on your morality at the end of the game, so go nuts."? I liked Dishonored and all, but the focus on cool ways to kill people tied to an ending that required you to not kill people felt like a giant "Do not do this cool thing".

Is that how it worked? My impression was you got a different ending if you were really blood thirsty, kind of like light side/dark sides behavior in Jedi Knight. Maybe I should finish the game already.

You could kill a few people and still get the good ending. Whenever I tried though, killing anybody would immediate cause everybody else to come running, and then it goes from just 1 dead dude to bloodbath.

I wasn't put off by that low / high chaos mechanic. During my high chaos playthrough it didn't really feel like I was punished for having "fun" or anything, it's just that the overall experience felt darker and even more depressing than it was when trying out low chaos. Of course all the characters call Corvo a bloodthirsty bastard etc., but who cares what they say. It's not like they're any better :p

That trailer looks awesome and it got me hyped up for the DLC alright. Wonder how many missions are there gonna be...

I don't know but I remember reading that this particular DLC is the first of two that will deal with Daud.

From what I gathered from RPS, it will have 3 missions and cost $10. Which seems like a good deal with how big Dishonored's missions are.
