I barely got to know her, but she did seem like a talented fan mission author. She will definitely be missed by most of the fan mission community here. My condolences, may her children cope well with her absence.

She had become a friend to me as well. She used to call me Peter Pan (before my beard grew in) back in the day.
Rowena's Curse was one of the earliest FMs I ever played that had such a long lasting effect on me. From that point on she became my favorite author and nobody has been able to supplant her over the years. Her storytelling ability was truly incredible!
I remember back in probably 2005-2006 or so I had sent her something I'd been working on in Dromed. This was really rough and early work- (it was before I knew you could align textures, even!) I sent it to only her and told her how much of a fan I was and how much I wanted her opinion. It was actually really embarrassing thinking back!
She was kind enough to play it and gave me her thoughts, which were extremely helpful to me.
I later abandoned the mission, but I'll always think of her when I think back to it.
Rest in peace, Adriana. You were truly one of a kind.
Your friend,
Rob

Rest in Peace Adriana. She was working on what it seemed an amazing new mission campaign for thief 2, i wonder if her Son would be kind to give us her interrupted project. Linda now it may be not the right time to ask her Son for the project, but could you on a later moment ask him to share with us the project his mother was working on, so that anyone here can finish it?

So sad to hear this news. :-(
Adriana, you were a wonderful person and one of the brightest shining stars of our community, and you will be sorely missed by all. I send prayers and comfort to your family and friends.

It would not be in good taste to ask such questions now. Please wait for a while before suggesting it, her children would need some time to soak up the shock.

Hard to find the words. I traded a few PMs with her over the years, and she seemed like a super nice person. I remember butting heads with her a bit over the Thief 2 Gold project, but we worked it out and then laughed about it afterwards. Of course, it should go without saying, but her FMs were all excellent. So creative, so inspirational. What a loss.
I too was looking forward to her (

RIP Adriana/Lady Ro - you will be greatly missed, on many fronts.

This is terrible news. I wish her family strength in dealing with her loss. She was a pillar of this community and will be sorely missed. I had the pleasure of working with her briefly on a project, and she was a delightful person with whom to work, and converse. Her missions are still among my most favorite. She had a great gift, and she will always be remembered. Rest in peace, Lady R.
