I don't frequent the forums as much as I used to and was shocked at the news of Lady Rowena's passing.
She leaves a lasting legacy and reading the other comments in the thread has really showed the respect that the community gives to her as a person and her work.

I've avoided saying anything just yet because it always take me a bit to reconcile, and put into words, all that is in my head after such a event. I still am reeling from losing my mom in 2013. My sincere condolences to her family, first and foremost.
I've been playing through her missions since hearing of her real life woes. I didn't know her personally, but as so well-put here before me; she was kind and unquestionably talented. It gets me right in the heart, when I think about her coming here and posting and working on Dromed when ever she had a moment away from the woes. I am glad she left the impressions she did. I am also glad that she captured her essence into an interactive medium, copied across many computers and servers, that we can visit any time.
We play thief because we loved the game since the time we came across it, in that same way, I suspect we will see her again in FMs to come. Even if it's just a part.

This is terrible news for sure! She will truly be missed, my heart felt condolences go out to her family.
