I've read the model is in the game files, but isn't used in the game. Has any fan mission author used it in a mission, or any other piece of "cut content"?

might be in the lord of the rings type fan missions,forgot the name of it,but you have to travel to a camp and during mission there is a part where you can pick to go into a underground tomb or stay above ground then meet a gut in a tent for a final battle with magic demons/etc i think if its anywhere its on that mission

You can encounter some in Firefly for T2, a fan-mission by Lobster & Moghedian. ;)

I think the creature was included in the DedX pack IIRC.
