Do we have a working and still updatable database for Thief missions? - by A.Stahl

Thanks for promoting my site, Beltzer ;)
@A.Stahl
Updatable? Yes. Seek for new missions? Definitely.
As previous guys write, there are many places to search for missions. It is something that I really like in our community. We have so many websites where one can download a mission or read tutorials on how to make them.
On Thief Guild website, I try to build a platform, where users can take care of mission directory content themselves. As for now, you can submit different content to existing directory entries. Soon, we want to launch a feature so that every author can manage their missions without moderator's approval. It will be possible to create official page for your mission just the way you want it to be, with your description, screenshots etc. but also allowing you to publish any other content useful to related mission players and release each update faster.

Regarding FM downloads, (
www.thiefmissions.com) was the staple for years - it's still good to use for anything up to about October of 2013.
I thought Cheap Thief Missions was still good even to this day, just slow in uploading new (2017+) content nowadays?

Epithumia (the guy who runs thiefmissions.com) will host any Thief files these days, but you have to request it. He doesn't update the site regularly or automatically. If you check out the listings, there are only 7 FMs available that have been released after 2013.

Probably half those are mine, since I still make it a point to notify him when I release something.

On this note I just checked . Jason's upload page still seems to function. I used it frequently for all types of files when I was still actively building.

Does nobody bother to send Jason stuff?

Nope, most authors don't bother to contact him any more when they release something. Used to be everyone did, but that was mostly because thiefmissions was about the ONLY mission repo around, now we have quite a few.

I always liked a simplistic website design, where I just go to get something as fast as possible and as basically as possible, no need for fancy pictures because I found information about it somewhere else, so I always used thiefmissions. But yeah, it is slightly "outdated", not maintained as much anymore.
thiefguild.com looks nice, it goes by a very fancy design in comparison to thiefmissions.com with its obviously "Cheap" design, but still, gotta modernize.
gnartsch.de seems to be missing as well, shouldn't you inform that?

AFAIK, gnartsch is currently reorganizing his site, so it's not really missing. His download site should rather be counted as "currently unavailable". TTLG.DE, on the other hand,
has already been reorganized, and its download portal was available one minute ago at (
https://www.ttlg.de/index.php?fm-download/) https://www.ttlg.de/index.php?fm-download/. That entry could also be changed, I think.
However, I'm neither gnartsch's official speaker;), nor TTLG.DE's, so whoever changes the entries here should probably ask the relevant people before that.
