I really don't think a Thief 4 would fit in well with the story line, as good it would be to have another great game on top of the last GREAT 3 games its just not gunna happen.

At the end of Thief DS how it shows Garrett in Artemus' position at the start of Thief 1 pretty much ends the storyline which is so well done.

If there is a Thief 4 it will be Garrett is brought as a clone ala Alien Resurrection style.
