Is that what the female Hammer Haunts say? :cheeky: ...and I thought the male ones were scary. :joke: :ebil:

Years ago, my wife made me a black half-circle cloak with a hood. She made it out of black polarfleece. I call it my "holocaust cloak" (as worn by the dwead piwate Woberts) and it was quite the fashion accessory on the ski slope. But it's too warm to wear inside.
Awesome :thumb: DIY clothes rule. My cotton tunic is not at all too warm during mildly warm Finnish summers. It even keeps me warm enough with one additional layer or clothing under it during our cold % humid autumn times.

atolonen, good choice on the bow! The Scythian is short and easy to conceal, and thus very thiefy. My bow is a Magyar at 45 pounds.
Indeedy. I think that the smallish Scythian was a good balance between the ability to conceal it and the amount of power one can get from it. Nevertheless, I bet you could easily feather me your Magyar (which is a beautiful bow too) if we ever happen to start arguing on opposing rooftops :cheeky:

Has anyone else played wearing a hood? You all have to try to play with a hooded garment. I did this by accident when I was wearing a hooded sweat shirt. At first it was annoying but then I couldn't play without! It made the game feel a bit more real especially when hiding in shadows. I recommend it!:thumb:
As you can see we are all weird here, but at the end of the day if you enjoy it, then it dosent matter what other people think..

The 'please' was gratuitous. :ebil:

If only the haunts had said please, I might just have joined them. Common courtesy may be a small thing, but it can achieve bigger things. :cheeky:

I have a black, hooded bathrobe that looks kind of like a Thief cloak. I wore it a few times while playing Thief, and I like it. It helps block out light, peripheral vision and background noise, and my headphones are small enough for me to wear it comfortably. It really does make it more immersive.
I have a bow too. :cheeky:

I don't wear a hood. But I do eat sunflower seeds while I'm waiting for the guards to calm down. Does that count? :cheeky:
I don't have a hooded cloak, but I do have several hooded, and, yes, black pullovers. Since I'm in a Mediaeval fencing (and general Mediaeval martial arts) company, I do have a longsword (a one-and-a-half handed one, also vulgarly known as "bastard" sword :p), a dagger and a shortbow (a 50-pound one), and a chainmail. I also plan to purchase a small crossbow.
I'm now also applying to a Roman historical society, so I shall learn how to use a gladius, spear, and a javelin. Mmmm...
Come to think of it, I'll probably look up if anybody could teach me how to use a warhammer.:cheeky:
