I was looking to buy this online, found one seller and asked if it came with a product key, he says he does not see one but only has the keyboard map and the disc. What kind of copy protection does this game have, or does it have any? I want to know mainly so that when I buy it I can make sure I'm getting what I need to get the game running. Thanks.

No product key, but it looks to see if certain files are present, differing from game to game.

My versions of Thief I & II by Sold Out Software don't need the discs in the drive to play. :cheeky:
