In my quest to play Version 2 of Splinter Cell: Double Agent on PC, I've considered using Dolphin Emulator for the Wii version. The last time I tried it with PCSX2, though, I got terrible results - had to bind eight keys to move properly, and couldn't use mouselook for some reason. So I'm being cautious and asking for feedback here. How close to the original experience is emulating SC:DA Wii version on PC? I mainly want to know if it controls well, and how the performance is.

Why aren't you using a gamepad with PCSX2? I slogged through all the important jRPGs in my PSX emu days with a keyboard, but for the PS2 era you really do need a gamepad hooked up.
Did I ever tell you guys about the time I finished MGS2 on the PC playing with just the keyboard? Why, yes, I did. And I wouldn't wish that incredible experience on anyone. Trust me. Just. Don't.
If you have a PS3 gamepad lying around, install MotioninJoy and BetterDS3 and have fun.

I also finished MGS2 on the PC playing with just the keyboard. High five?
Anyway, I second the gamepad recommendation for PCSX2, especially since SCDA runs quite well on it otherwise - I didn't have any issues with it, graphics and audio worked as intended and the performance was good too. I only tried the Dead Space game on the Dolphin, but I couldn't get playable performance out of it.

The problem is, I only have the Xbox 360 wireless controller from my console, and my parents think I spend too much time gaming as it is to buy me more stuff, so a controller's pretty much out of the question. :/
If there's any way to hook up my 360 controller and play with that without any external hardware involved, I can manage.

I read the title as "Dolphin simulator with Splinter Cell Double Agent" and was incredibly disappointed to find out how wrong I was.

If your even considering using keyboard for controls in anything emulated. Don't. You'll completely hate it.
Not counting dosbox of course.

Mis-read as "dolphin simulator" :(
