... I could make a supercity{when I say supercity I mean supercity} with all missions taking place in the same mission..like an RPG of course you would start in your apartment there would be museums banks manors slums haunted caves and your supernatural areas like pagan land and shit, and if you wanted you could clean out the bank before going to Granny's.
...Intriguing...

How so?

Nonsense because you'll never do it and "and shit" because I was making fun of the way you used the same phrase. :cheeky:

Show us your portfolio, wart.
FiifGerett - monetary donations to eidos in the form of purchases of Thief Deadly Shadows were the only way to petition for the development of a Thief 4. The required number of purchases came short, somewhere in the ballpark of several hundred thousand short, in order to successfully convince eidos that Thief 4 should be. Monetary donations to TTLG are always accepted and go towards constant server maintenance (these forums are expensive to run) and hardware upgrades when needed (more often than you'd think) so would certainly not go to waste. Keep in mind that TTLG is in no way associated with eidos. Furthermore, monetary donations to specific FM authors, while generally an unspoken taboo around here, as all FM authors do excellent work and money is never exchanged, is not a bannable offense. Whereas, for instance, selling FMs is.

I'm very serious and it wont be shit either.
I can get some people to help me with the story so it is as legit and thiefy as possible. I would handle all the mission design by myself...Trust me I am an architectural genius.
I can make the missions single but really big...or.. I have a fantasy that I could make a supercity{when I say supercity I mean supercity} with all missions taking place in the same mission..like an RPG of course you would start in your apartment there would be museums banks manors slums haunted caves and your supernatural areas like pagan land and shit, and if you wanted you could clean out the bank before going to Granny's.

LOL :joke:
In case this is a serious question. Of course you can get a Thief 4 if you donate enough money. I think you underestimate the amount that you need to. A game usually takes into the millions, and I'm not sure if you can raise that kind of money here on TTLG. In fact I'm quite sure. That you can't. :ebil:
Game developers work for money after all.

Maybe if we look around hard enough, we'll find a bunch of homeless developers with signs that read, "Will make Thief 4 for food." We could set up in a homeless shelter, or a Tent City, and they'll just be so grateful to work for snack-food and cup'a'soup, they'll channel their passions into the best game ever made. The gritty feel of living on the streets and thieving to get by will come through in the gameplay and design.
