Christ, this thread was stupid before Evabot resurrected it.

I've only played about 10 minutes, and some of the UI decisions seem a bit stupid (basically the stuff that John Walker wrote on RPS), but the art design is gorgeous, and from what I've seen I think I'll like the music, writing and voice acting a lot. Let's see what the puzzles are like.
Also, I do like the feeling of knowing that I've co-funded this, even if just to a tiny degree. Same with the other successful Kickstarters I've been involved in so far. Even if not every one pans out, I like being a micro-patron of the arts. :D

The puzzles reminded me of the children's adventure games my little brothers used to play when they were about 6, Freddi Fish and its ilk.
Their simplicity, linearity and straightforwardness (yes, those are all slightly different things in my mind :erg:) creates an aura of shallowness in an otherwise extremely pretty, charming and often funny game.

If you're a Kickstarter or slacker backer then check your email, you can play Act Two 24 hours early ahead of the release date. Humble Bundle mailed out Steam beta branch access codes.

I'd be lying if I said that I'm as excited about this as I was two years ago, and the long wait definitely has something to do with it; however, I enjoyed the first part even if I didn't love it, and I definitely thought that it had a voice and style of its own that I very much enjoyed, so yes, I do still give a flying fuck.
