It'd be cool if someone made a highway cross-country racing game, LA to NYC, different vehicles. Cannonball Run the game. There'd probably need to the right mix of procedural generation & modeled content. I did a quick search on it and am just coming up with other people wishing the same thing. (There was an old C64 game that did it that I used to play.) Part of it would be planning your route, handling gas & breakdowns & the fuzz, etc.

One I thought up just the other day: Co-op VR Pacific Rim Jaeger Pilot sim for the Vive/SteamVR and maybe Project Morpheus. Properly synchronized movements between the two players sees a massive boost in efficacy in the Kaiju fights. Poorly synched movements greatly increase the chances of getting killed.

Tron, licensed from Disney and made into a Deus Ex type of First Person rpg.
I thought Tron 2.0 wasn't that bad, actually.

Tron 2.0 was/is excellent!

I'm going to be boring and obvious:
* A new System Shock that's closer in style to the original than the sequel.
* The Thief 3 that LGS were intending to make.
* A Terra Nova sequel that pushes modern technology and immersion to the limit. I can only imagine what the blend of modern-day VR and free-falling jet-packing powered battle armour movement & combat would be like, but part of me really wants to find out.

I want the game LA Noire should have been, instead of the formulaic so-so game that it was. A gumshoe PI, with a bottle of whisky and a revolver in the drawer of the office desk, set in Chicago or NY. GTA style open city, with minimal combat. Jazzy saxophone soundtrack.

I thought the story and characters of LA Noire were great, as was the overall visual and audio design; it's the moment-to-moment gameplay that quickly got stale. Not sure what exactly would've improved it: more old-school adventure puzzles? Perhaps change the truth/doubt/lie bit, which had the most potential but never really clicked as a gameplay mechanism IMO.

Speaking of gumshoe PI noir, a jazzy soundtrack, and scifi, it'd be cool if the old Blade Runner adventure game were remade as an open world game like LA Noire, keeping the same dark, cool aesthetic it had.
Basically I'd love to see a GTA clone with flying cars, like Blade Runner's LA or Fifth Element's NYC.

I'd also like a first person Mass Effect type game, with the scope of a game like Skyrim/Fallout/GTA.
