Actually, the fat white guy in a red suit thing is 100% because of Coca Cola. Up until then he was usually portrayed as being thin and wore green or sometimes brown. There was no consistent image of him. Coca Cola's marketing campaign in the 1920s changed all that.

Alright, fine. 50% because of Coca Cola -- and that's a conservative estimate. The point is, the popular image of Santa was cemented by them, if not created outright. Santa's depiction is an evolving one, and Coke rode the then-popular image of a fat white dude in a red suit for all it was worth. If not for Coke and the power of advertising, Santa probably would have moved on to a different depiction.

Well, Jesus was White, since he was from Galilee, and that area was chiefly infused with Greek blood, hence a lot of the Jews had beef with him, since Jews hate Whites.
As for Santa, the mythical image surely is White, since he's more a projection of a European archetype called "Father Winter" than of a Semitic "Saint Nicolas".
These things aside, nobody wants a Negro coming down their chimney or being a subject of worship in their home. I would shoot the first and cast out the second into the outside snow.
