It's enduringly amazing how many people still find the fact the some humans constitutively express melanin in their skin to be a mark of any kind of inferiority or negative personality traits. It's like, fair enough a few hundred years ago when we had no clue how small the difference was, but bearing in mind all humans are >99% genetically identical to chimps, it's seriously bizarre that people want to pick on one piece of very minor variation as a reason to conjure up some bile. Go shout slurs at a woodlouse or something - MUCH more different.
