I completed this 3 or 4 weeks ago now, and I must say, it's one of my favourite games this year. I'd never played a Driver game before, but going on the strength of the reviews, I figured I'd give it a try, and bought it for PC.
It's a positive joy to play, and hopping from one car to another is so well executed, it becomes second nature. On top of that, the characters you bump into when hijacking a body are pretty damn hilarious, with exceptional voice acting performances throughout.
It's also great that the actual driving, for EVERY car, feels very drifty.
Loved it all the way through, only getting a little frustrated by some sub-missions repeating a little too often.
The soundtrack is sublime too, and introduced me to some new tunes, with favourites being "Don't Give Up" by Noisettes and "Baby's Come Back" by Span.
Highly, highly recommended.

Yeah, after the middling Driv3r and the horrid Parallel Lines, I gave this series up for dead. This came as a shock when the reviews weren't simply good, but excellent. I had a blast from start to finish. It actually felt like an updated version of the first game and a true love letter to us loyal Driver fans. Hell, I even played the Game Boy Color game and loved it.
Anyway, loved it. Recommend it. Play it now, whatever the console/PC you happen to have.

Hahaaaa this game is fun! :D
I had a bit of difficulty getting used to the controls at first but with practice I'm starting to get really good at powersliding through corners while barely avoiding smashing into oncomming traffic. It's starting to feel more and more like the original Driver the more I play.
And the body-switch mechanic might be a ludicrous concept but it's so much fun it just doesn't matter. I'm often reminded of the highway chase from Matrix Reloaded, with myself in the role of an agent, switching from car to car to smash up the poor humans foolish enough to take the highway. HERE COMES THE TANKER HEAD-ON! SHOULDA LISTENED TO MORPHEUS and stayed off the highway BIIIIIIITCH!
