After wrestling with retexturing I now find that I cannot frob a switch or the secret door that I have linked to it.
The switch properties in frob info are..Script, None, None.
The switch and the secret door do not even hilight to show that they are frobbable..anyone know what has gone wrong please.
I have the dromed toolkit version 1.1 installed too.
Thanks.

Did you check the frob distance? If the value is too low you won't be able to get close enough to frob it. I would also check the archetypes to see if thhe frob distance got added by accident.

Frob distance...remind me again where that lives please...it's been a while since I edited in anger and I have lost my little orange book of notes.

Inventory-->max pick distance
BTW, you need to load gen.osm.
Ravenhook on 19/9/2013 at 15:52
Max pick distance is set at 7.
Load gen.osm..how is that loaded in newdark, under "file" the old "load convict" etc is not there..:erm:

Depends on your menu
I guess it's custom-->load script...
Or just type
script_load gen

Genius...
script_load gen
worked a treat.
Thank you both for your invaluable help.
Look out dromed I have a cunning plan and a half decent storyline written down this time so no writers block.:sly::sly::sly:

So I assume you'll be revising the thread title to "Ravenhook Unable to Configure Mission". :devil:

Thanks for that, very constructive...ever thought of a career in politics.:laff:

Hey, I'm just sayin', if we made a pile of all the threads blaming NewDark for some problem or another that turned out to be a PEBCAK... it'd be a pretty big pile.
