Well, because the DromED FAQ is really big, I would prefer a seperate NewDark FAQ - like this (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140097&p=2144083) one.
Perhaps it could be mentioned or marked in the old FAQ, if there exists a NewDark entry for this question/entry/how-to....

You might want to include some info on getting things to work in Windows 95 and things to do while waiting for your mission to light on a Pentium 2.
I still have my old Pentium 2 machine somewhere . Too bad it runs on Win 98SE though :p. I actually used it to test my first FMs to see how they would run on ancient hardware.

Most of the answers will be the same for both, and over time all use of 1.18 should go away. That's why I think there should be only one FAQ. It's hard enough to get people to read the FAQ as is.

I see your point, but that is a very optimistic opinion. You will always find many tutorials only for 1.18 on the web. And with a sperate NewDark FAQ you can more easily check, if there are more ways/possibilities than in such an "old" tutorial.
Oh, and if the answer for both will be the same (like you mentioned), then it is no NewDark feature - so no reason to mention it in the NewDark FAQ.
But indeed it is not that important to me if NewDark has its own FAQ. I would be fine with both solutions; a NewDark FAQ would only be more practical for me. :)

I come at it from the standpoint that 1.18 usage will wither away. There really is only a need for a single DromEd FAQ for the current version of DromEd (1.21 just now, but really whatever version our guardian angel bestows in the future).
Just like there is no special forum or FAQ for DromEd 1.07 use (the original T2 DromEd) or DromEd 1.33 or 1.37 (the original and the final T1 DromEds respectively) I don't see a need for a 1.18 DromEd FAQ. In the past, when someone asked a question about a problem they were having when using 1.07, the answer was always get updated to 1.18. I think the answer now to someone using 1.18 should be to 1st get using 1.21.

I think the first question could be 'what is the latest version?'

Technically, 1.35 was the final T1 DromEd. 1.37 is Thief Gold.
Not that it matters much!

I've looked high and low but I can't seem to find any thread that gives step by step instructions for installing Dromed with New Dark and getting it up and running. Does anyone know of such a thread? If so, I want to include a link to it in the FAQ. If not, I'd say we need one. I'm thinking of new authors.
