Hi
Not sure, wether I asked this in the past. After a long time I want to continue my mission.
But I have a problem with the function, to move an object:
As soon I press shift-key and left-mouse-button, the selected object move along the x-axis.
How can I prevent this ?
My System: Win7 64 Bit

This depends on the view. If you want to move the object on the x+y-axis, select top view. For the z-axis choose another one.

No. The selected object should follow the mouse. As long I do not move the mouse, the object sholudnt move
either. Its a bug and I forgot, how to prevent this. Unfortunately I cannot find anything related in the net.

Not sure I've ever seen this. Click the LMB once after SHIFT starts to include current object in a multi brush. There's really not too much of a opportunity to have the object race away on X axis.

I will describe it a bit more detailed:
1. Just start dromed.
2. You see the default brush and it is already selected.
3. Now press SHIFT-Key and then press LMB and hold both keys.
(here in the top-area). The mousepointer is in an empty position;
not touching the brush.
4. The Brush immediately starts moving on the x-axis.
If I do that in the front- or right-area it move on the z-axis.
Even if I release the SHIFT-Key by still holding LMB, the Brush is
still moving.
Addition: I have the same problem with the ctrl-Key !
If I press ctrl and then LMB, the object starts scaling !

I understood it before, but it's not doing it for me in USA. Perhaps there is a keyboard layout issue between a US installation and a German/EU one. That is a wild guess though. Best of luck.

Did you try another mouse/keyboard/restart PC?

It sounds like you might have a bad or dirty mouse. The brush movements you described are normal but only if the mouse is moving too.
Do you have Sticky Keys turned on? If so you can turn that feature off in Control Panel -> Ease of Access Center.

Thank you all for trying to find out, what the problem is.
I have tested dromed with another keyboard and mouse: Same behaviour.
And "sticky keys" are disabled.
So it seems, it is my motherboard, that doesn't "fit" with dromed.
The only idea: I have to change the ctrl- and the shiftkey
for the move- and scalefunction in combination with LMB.
Any Idea, how to do that ? I didn't find such a setting in
the bnd-Files.

Not very likely. ;)
Is this a notebook or something?
