OMGGYBB was just depressing...

So my question to Mortal Monkey is: when can we expect a proper mission based on the concept of A long way down?

i deserve an award for the most work on a crap mission, i had a ridiculous number of objects to run that thing, and the links were out of control, i discovered how to make a timer without a custom script, but it requires about 3 markers. all to annoy players in the cube while they died constantly.

Assuming you mean depressingly crappy, then I thank you. :D
I tried to exercise and exaggerate every crappy design point I could think of, including most of my own pet peeves.
I actually came up with something that was intended to be annoying, but I may actually use some day in a legit mission. The lift button in the building with the spiders randomly either summons the lift, sends it to the next floor up, or does nothing. Might be neat to do that on a "malfunctioning" lift in a hotel or something. Maybe a fourth option would be to shock the player. :ebil:

 Hmmmm... strange.
I must admit I thought OMGGYBB and House Rob were the two best worst missions. One of those really deserved to win given the nature of the contest.
Incubus was actually rather good  but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, well done to Sterlino and more importantly to Brother Renault and helpers for running the contest. It was great fun.

FlickerTrigger doesn't work? Or just make a lever and adjust the tweq speed to taste.
Well, I guess you get the honorary Komag-Rube Goldberg "Mind Master" award for this contest.

Oh, that lift is shocking enough as it is! You had me completely stumped. And what's worse, I couldn't even figure out what it was doing in Dromed.

I think now would be a good time for us all to apologise.
Sorry.
Ditto.
My votes were:
Crappiest A/V: (1) House Rob (2) Medal Age (3) Half Blind
Crappiest Story: (1) Shadows of Darkness (2) Half Blind (3) Bad Man
Crappiest Design: (1) OMGGYBB (2) Medal Age (3) tOt Escape
Crappiest Gameplay: (1) Half Blind (2) Kill the Guard (3) Medal Age
Humour: (1) Quamtotius Purgamentum (2) Having Regrets (3) Kill Factory
Originality: (1) Incubus (2) Kill Factory (3) House Rob
Too bad I could only vote for one in each category. Overall, my favorite was Half Blind.
Now, who was the taffer that voted my mission for "Originality"?
