I thought bangersnmash was okay, although I've only seen him in the Bowie topic. Kinda reminded me of myself the way he was speaking from his lil bubble as if uncovering what everyone was thinking but dare not speak. Haha. Oh well. I haven't learned anything new today yet, it's rather early for a Saturday. I dreamed of a huge calendar. I blame my wife, she makes calendars.

If only you'd brained a little harder, you would have learned on that day that the alcohol isn't in there because it's rum-flavored extract, but rather because nearly ALL extracts use an alcohol base. McCormick's mint extract is
89% alcohol. The alcohol in extracts serves as both a preservative and to dilute the flavor to the desired intensity.

Pouring Moonshine (and I'm talking the real stuff, not the "Moonshine" you can buy at a grocery store .. don't ask) through a ZeroWater ionic filter yields water. Plain old, purified water.
The fucking thing stripped the alcohol out, ruining a small, though what could have been a rather nice batch of apple shine. And here I thought the claims were bullshit. Hell, someone even wrote what would amount to being damn near a dissertation on some Reddit thread about how this would be impossible.
