We had a guy on the German Eidos board whose first nickname was Constantine (later changed to the incredibly more sophisticated "Bloody Angel") and I resorted to call him Coschta (for you: Coshta) all the time since this eastern nickname of Constantine is at least known here as well.

There are some guys in Latvia who have the name Constantine (Konstantīns), but it isn't fairly common. I think Looking glass studios just wanted a character with a cool foreign, non-common name. ;)

Yeah, working in an office with somebody who shared a name with a great historical figure famous for elevating Christianity as a major world religion, and whose name was ironically given to the Pagan god as the Templar Knight-based Hammerites' archenemy is probably too much of a stretch. But I like it a lot.:p

We lived for a while in Greece with my daughter who was 10 at the time,and minded a little boy called Constantinos,Its a very common name really,but not as common as Spiros! :D
