I've a friend who is going over son and I want her to get me DX (too expensive in the UK).
How much is it in the USA?
BackDoorBandit on 16/2/2001 at 13:51
No more than $39.99 plus Sales Tax. The highest Sales Tax that I know of is in Texas at 8.25%. So the most your friend would be paying for the game would be $43.29 .....hope this helps.
Also, be sure to tell your friend not to pay no more than the above price, because otherwise, they're trying to rip them off. The game can even be found for as low as $29.99 at some stores.

Hey...you might want to check out Switchouse. (it's the address you'd think it'd be) You basically just trade things. I traded my RollerCoaster Tycoon: Corkscrew Follies disk for Deus Ex. It was a great trade for me, since I had the second RCT pack, which includes the first! Anyway, Deus Ex should be coming in the mail in a few days...I can't wait to play the game.

I probably shouldn't say this. My citizenship in the US could be threatened but I can't hold this back any longer.
No one pays for games in the US. We just walk into a store and take however many copies we like. Game developers/publishers make all their money off the overpriced editions sent outside our country.

It's £26.99 from SoftwareFirst.
That's $38
But it should be £20 (according to USA prices).
Now I work for aliving and if I want to but loads of stuff (as I do) 4 games at stupid UK prices costs me an extra 24 pounds.
As I'm busy playing other games at the moment (and I never did finish Populous 3 or AvP on the hardest level) I can wait 'til it drops and forget US prices.
Got SS2,Dungeon Keeper 2, Wing Commander Phrophecy Gold, and errr, 2 or 3 others, all for £14.99 in a compilation. Patience rewards.
With CoSaS and T2X on their way and my machine in need of an upgrade, DX can definately wait for now.

I live in Tasmania (insert derogatory statement here), and I couldn't even find it over here! True! If I had've ordered it it would have cost at least $90.00 AUS. I think that's at least $150 US.
Thank god for E-bay, and that fool who had obviously never played it.
