Next Assassin's Creed game is looking very pretty, and has 4-player co-op! Nice. :)
Aw, man, that looked amazing. I still don't think I can stomach another AC game though.
And here's hoping Mirror's Edge 2 will have a level editor. (it probably won't)

At least ME2 looks like it might be similar to the original, so I guess that's good.

Witcher 3 and Mirror's Edge look hot. Is there a time-frame on the latter?

Hi,
It's been a full year since we revealed that we are indeed making a new Mirror's Edge game here at DICE. I wanted to let you know that the game is progressing nicely and I think you're going to love it! I know many of you probably wish we would show more of the game, but we're still pretty early in development and our passionate core Mirror's Edge team is working full on to make the best game possible.
Mirror's Edge is all about fluidity, physicality and movement. We want to make sure we evolve the game and Faith in a way that gives you an exciting new player experience. We want the game to be accessible enough to embrace new players while at the same time reward the skilled player. We are also committed to provide the best 1st person close combat in the world. Advanced combat that is integrated into an improved fluidity of movement. These are not small undertakings, but they are challenges that we are up for.
I am fortunate enough to play the game we are building every day and I cannot wait to share it with all of you and soon enough, I will. The way that the team has reduced all the little obstacles of playing the first game, while adding a bunch of innovative stuff makes it an extremely thrilling experience. The uniqueness of the Mirror's Edge universe is still there, but with a new and fresh feel to it. We're also dedicated to let you know more about both Faith and the world that she is a part of this time around. But more about that later...
Thanks for all feedback, questions and love that have come our way during the past year. It's our fuel to keep going and never give up on what we have set out to achieve. Keep it coming!
You'll be hearing more from me soon!
Damn. I guess we won't be playing M.E. until at least 2016.
Playdead's next game looks great. (

This is the sort of statement that gives me a chill. It's like, on the one hand, there
were a lot of annoying obstacles to getting into the first game, that had little place in it and are best smoothed or removed. On the other hand, I don't want the controls too simplified to make it easier.

I'm not really sure how they
can simplify the controls. I feel like better signposting and improved combat are the only things it could really need to make it more accessible. The talk about how Faith is the projectile, and what little they show of the combat being a lot more physical (in the sense that Faith's inertia doesn't instantly vanish when colliding with an enemy) seems like a marked improvement in that area.

To me the flaws of the first Mirror's Edge, apart from story and things, could be fixed almost completely in the level design and not much else.

My bullet point list no one cares about:
* Yay for Temple of Osiris. Nay for the SEQUEL TO THE AWARD-WINNING Tomb Raider: The Dark Knight, though that was inevitable.
* Rainbow 6 is a pie of 'unconvincingly scripted' with a glaze of 'intriguing'.
* The Witcher 3 I'm still getting although it'll probably be more Witcher 2 (ie. Witcher 1 with slightly better combat, bad console interface/inventory and too much polish).
* Mirror's Edge 2 is... Uh... If this is all they can show now I really wonder what kind of video they pitched to EA years ago? I blame crowdfunding for allowing shit like that to fly during a reveal event.
* GTA V PC. Rejoice.
* Anything coming from Japan I don't care about anymore (but I will when I'm done with Dark Souls, I suppose).
* I really really really want Alien Isolation to be good but I'm so w(e)ary of Amnesia clone fatigue.
* Didn't care for Far Cry 3, don't care for Far Cry 4.
* No Man's Sky looks pretty nifty, possibly too ambitious.
* So many remakes / sequels...
* ...but the LIMBO guys get a free pass. INSIDE looks superb.
