Ubisoft hasn't peaked because they haven't released Ubisoft: Peak Game yet.

'Boring people who are sick of good games' - is that a real group? Someone has way too much time on their hands (and peculiar anger management issues).
I'd say I'm in a group of (boring!) people who are bored of being sold the same game over and over again. I don't understand people who get excited over incremental changes in each safe sequel of given franchise (AC and Ubisoft games in particular).
Well said. There's a reason that I've bought exactly one 2015 release, the Witcher 3, and it's probably going to stay that way unless Ori goes on sale sometime soon. tww

And I want media to play its part, being a buffer between general public and corporate, government and any other type of 'body' that is known to misinform in order to generate favorable response. They are to check stuff and call bs when need be, so we don't have to make extensive research and stupid choices. Or, you know, so we can make them anyway, but at least knowing it's stupid. Otherwise, media are as useful to us as chipmunks on cocaine. If only they were half as funny...
Careful there. Next thing we know you're going to be sending Twitter death threats, and bitching about "ethics in journalism" while we're forced to shun you for being one of "those people".

Why does it sound like you're mocking the idea of shunning these people?

Tony, not sure how you got from what I said to me being a gamergater-wannabe, but that's a huge miss, to say the least :O People already called you on that in other forum threads, and it happens again: you tend to have this admonishing, pseudo-didactic tone that leads you to some really weird assumptions. Also, no one likes to be treated like that in a conversation.

Tony never misses an opportunity to shoe-horn his MRA rage into a thread.

One day soon, the feminists will rise up as one to steal our male dicks. This is why I protest women's rights. WITH VIDEOGAMES!

And it looks like I wasn't alone in my complaint about Rebellion's new Battlezone title. Seems like they had to rush to release a statement about the RTS/FPS Battlezone games from 1998/1999.
(

A quick snippet from that...

We’re very pleased to reveal that we’re also working on a remaster of the 1998 Battlezone for PC.
So they're remastering it... good... great. It better include all of the expansions as well as I could never get those to work quite right. Don't get me wrong... I am happy about it... sure, but I think they applied the bulk of their resources to the wrong Battlezone game to bring back. The original arcade shooter was fun, but the RTS/FPS remake was the one that everyone remembers more simply because it was a F'ing Masterpiece. Even its sequel was 10 times better than the original arcade shooter.
If they had just announced that this new one, even with its Tron-like graphical appearance, was a RTS/FPS hybrid sequel (Battlezone 3 as it were)... I'd pre-order the damn thing right now. Just the thought alone of another game in the RTS/FPS series with modern-day graphics gives me goosebumps. Hell, I still have the (
http://www.mobygames.com/game/battlezone-gold-pack) Gold Pack edition of the first game in absolute mint condition quality.
So ultimately I feel like they screwed up & missed a financially huge opportunity with this (from my limited PC perspective at least). But considering that it is Rebellion, I'm not that all surprised. They also had another huge opportunity with that Aliens vs Predator sequel... & they screwed up with that one as well (at least IMO).

Serious question here: did you actually think I was serious?
Suffice it to say that I've seen people accused of being Gamergaters for a lot less than what you said about the games media.
