Holy Shit!
The Last Guardian & a Final Fantasy VII remake. Wow... just... wow. I'm speechless. I may actually cry tears of joy after seeing that new Last Guardian trailer.

Even though the idea of Coon & friends sound funny as all heck... the lack of Obsidian is slightly disturbing. But the video is hilarious.

Sony released a Media Player app for the PS4 today, which'll apparently let you play movies/music from USB drives, but also somehow let you stream content from your PC using a "home server" or "media server". Not sure how to set the thing up tho, and googling hasn't turned up anything helpful. Anyone know how to get this thing working? Do I need Plex? Or (
http://sourceforge.net/projects/unimediaserver/) this thing?

No, it is DLNA based so just make sure that you have a folder set up for sharing (added in W7 onwards if I remember correctly). Either enable the service or go into windows media player, turn streaming on and check default folder location.

Thanks, that got some of the way there. I've shared my Videos folder, and in WMP I've set it to "Automatically allow devices to play my media". Under Network my computer shows up as a Media Device, and clicking on it opens WMP and displays all the available video content. The computer shows up in the PS4 Media Player now as well, but there aren't any files under it. There should be 100s of files here, AVIs, MP4s encoded with H.264, which should be (
http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2015/06/16/media-player-launches-on-ps4-today/) supported, so I'm not sure why they're not showing up. :erg:
edit: nvm. got it. Sharing with homegroup seemed to do the trick.

I think that might've been the one I used to stream to the PS3 too, back in the day. Anyway, got it working, so no sweat.
