I'm going to E3 too for the first time, but dont have any specific plan in mind. Just gonna walk around and stop by every booth, paying closer attention to the big dogs (my main interest: Valve).

I dont think Valve has a booth on the showroom floor. I think in order to see their stuff you're going to need to make an appointment. At least that's how I understand it.
