Reminds me of the time I killed Desann using only a stun baton...

The only time I have done anything like that is meleeing the final boss in Silent Hill 3 on a second playthrough. God, I loved that game when I had it. I only have SH1, 2, 4. :erg:

GTA IV on PC,
I'm finding very few missions require a second attempt.

You aren't very far into it yet, are you? There are some keyboard smashers a bit later.

How in God's name are you running that POS unoptimised port on a 8600 GS? Is it going at like 10fps at 800x600, with draw distances of a couple miles or some shit?
I'm so glad that I bought the 360 version, especially with one meaty expansion just released and another in the pipeline.

I not. I played it on 360. I just the switched the controller reference for keyboard.
I dunno, the expansions are coming to PC, right? I saw the pre-order boxes for PC for both expansions @ GameStop a few days ago.

I reckon I'm 50-60% through it. I look forward to some keyboard smashing.

LOL, the motorcycle chase was tough for many people. I finished it second time, though. Maybe you are just really good at this one. I am fairly good, but my brain is still trained for San andreas and Vice City.
I have put hundreds upon hundreds of hours in those two games alone. I own XBOX and PC versions of 3/VC/SA, and until recently, had them on PS2 as well. Some 7- years of GTA gave me quite a muscle memory. I know for a fact at least 500 hours have been spent cruising the streets of Liberty, Vice City, and the state of San Andreas.

Are you guys talking about the bit where you have to chase the bikies on a chopper? Because I fluked the shit out of that section, managed to land an unintended double backflip on the chopper for good measure towards the end of the chase. Probably the arse-iest thing I have managed in a game in a while.
Yeah some of the set pieces towards the end of GTA IV are pretty retarded, the trick to learn is to kill the bare minimum of guys required to keep running. The game really profits from slowing you down with a horde of enemies that give the police enough time to come along and shoot the shit out of you.
