I hate starting new threads, but I searched and searched but could not find a thread...
Anyway, I was going to go over the (
www.eidosinteractive.com/forums) because I hadn't been there in a couple weeks and behold to my surprise "File Not Found". Not only that, but (
www.eidosinteractive.com) appears to be a business login page for US users. When I go to the main eidos site, I can't seem to find any link to a forum. Have they completely gotten rid of that department?

Hmmm, must have been longer than a few months since you've been there. :) The link has always been, forums.eidosgames.com for me. ;)

Rommel! There's a blast from the past. I wonder if ricknmel is still around. I checked my link and it was the same as Rommels, which is now dead by the way. Must have been a continuing link from older days that finally snapped. It must have gone recently though, since my link worked at the time of theBlackman's birthday so...
btw, Thanks New Horizon for the updated link!

Works for me, you sure they just didn't close the door on you Rommel. :p Did you forget the password?

I have no problem. But I have a suggestion:
Get logged in. Click on your USER CP. Bookmark it.
Then select all the FORUMS you have an interest in and SUBSCRIBE.
Then just click on the new link, log in and see all the forums you have an interest in. I also suggest you set the PROFILE to SHOW 7 days.
That way you can see all the current posts.
As for older ones, I've had no problem with the search there for older threads.

Well, it's working now. I was scared for a while there. ;)
Usually when the site hiccups like THAT there's atleast some kind of explanation for it. It's odd though that the base site doesn't appear to have a link to the forums.
Thanks Goldmoon! I try to pop in now and then, but I don't have much time for taffing any more. :(

Yeah, it's working now tBm. :thumb:
That's the usual screen I expect to see. The "business screen" I was getting was really off the wall. I wish I had thought to take a screen shot at the moment because I had never seen that before. I wonder if they were making some changes to another page/site and somehow a link got taffed or fuddled or something, and I was just the lucky taffer to find it! :p
But then there's so many other game forums, there ought to have been some other users noticing it....
