Hello!
From DromEd I can enter game mode (alt+g) but am unable to return to DromEd like I used to; by alt+e (Edit mode)
I checked the user.bnd file:
bind e+alt "run .\cmds\editmode.cmd"
bind g+alt "run gamemode.cmd"
I can find gamemode.cmd file but editmode is nowhere to be found. But same thing happens on old computer where this works.
I've moved my thief installation that I use for mission development from old computer to new (Win7 to Win10)
I'm not sure this is neccessary win10 related.

If gamemode.cmd is missing then install it. You can find it in DromEd Toolkit.

I can't find editmode, gamemode.cmd is there.

Also if you find it randomly happening, note if you have caps on.
