Why? Just open an installed mission in Dromed, Click Game -> Game Mode and you're playing. Press Ctrl+P to open the console and enter commands.

To add to what DJ Riff said; first start the mission in Thief, do a quick save at the beginning and quit. Then open the mission in DromEd, go to game mode and press the quickload button. This way not only you can play in DromEd, but also save/load as per normal.
