Wow.
That's great. Why, Eidos, why? First, you let ActivMark rape Thief Gold, now this..... :nono:

Think of it as a collectors item for the future.
TR00 D4T.
And I totally understand
why no more T4 items are available right now. If it's not gonna be the final, real logo, there's little sense in making any more.
What I don't grok is reconciling the lack of items for the
other Thief titles (and DX titles) with (
http://www.incgamers.com/Interviews/183/Thief4DeveloperInterview/3) Stéphane D'Astous' statements to IncGamers:
"we've put effort into creating good merchandise for people to be proud to demonstrate their support, or their fan-following, and their actions for these types of games, and we have - and all this is done within this studio"and
"People should know that Thief is the grandfather of the stealth genre, which was a new type of gameplay back in 1998, and it's important for people to know that this game really created that. It shook the ground a decade ago, and we're trying our best to bring it to market and break new ground. I think people are proud and they want to associate themselves with the product, and this type of merchandising can certainly help."He's damn right I want to associate myself with THAT product. So please, Stéphane and Eidos, enable me to do so.
See, the T-shirt and merch market is all about the cred. Old School sells way better than new (Led Zeppelin shirts, anyone?), but it can still be used for marketing new products within brands (as Iron Maiden knows very well). That shop right there is all set to pull in hundreds of thousands of $CAD for Eidos, with the correct selection. Which it's lacking right now.

Ordered mine (in black of course).

T-shirts and other merchandise should include all the titles so that it could help newcomers become familiarised with the legacy this one's riding on, and they'll have time to check out the older titles and be caught up for when the new one comes out!

Haha! I'm sure it's all very ironic - I'm definitely buying those t-shirts, both the white and the black one. I think they look great!

Holy crap! Are they shipping the damn things in WoodCrateSealed (-506)? The shipping charge is almost as much as the shirt!

Then make the most of it and increase your order to $100, so you get that limited edition poster included in the same shipment.

Hi Larris! Yep, I saw your mail! (I'm on the list of people that gets the comments.) You made some good points and we will be having a de-brief about the store's launch to discuss suggestions and see what we can modify and/or add to it.
Keep 'em coming!
