Z, the page can be found at (

I have written a review of EMT2 as an addendum to the first post of this thread, so that first time players will have some idea what they are in for. I also corrected the mission count. Check it out.

Gods, I'm just so happy to be out of Mission 8 :D
So, I'm looking not for a spoiler, but a hint, if you please! Note that I've frobbed every readable I could find in case they trigger something.
I've been through the first section, have my picks, 2 healing postions, sword and BJ. In the next section, I've been into the weaponsmith's place and flipped the switch that opens the sewer entrance. There's one door in there above the top flight of stairs that I managed to open mid jump but just can't reach without rope arrows.
I've been to the little house above the weaponsmith's with the man armed with a sword wearing blue. I have no key for the chest and it's unfrobbable.
Learned my lesson and saved before entering the sewer and thank the gods I did because it's a one way ticket.
I've gathered up the loot and am stumped by both the grill securing the elevator and the area above the lava - I assume there's something to make the platforms slide out from the wall? Tried BJ'ing everyone, putting them all in the lava room (as an offering to the breast bulletin board??) and dumping them all in the lava.
So - am I missing rope arrows from somewhere? I checked every vine I could find, and tried to use a barrell to climb up onto otherwise inaccessible walls but they're still too tall.
If there aren't any arrows that I'm missing, can I have a teensy tiny hint from someone who has made it through?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
-M

Got over my snit and decided to try mission 9 again. I have gotten as far as the water tunnel that shoots you way up and you die coming down. What are you supposed to do to survive? I know there must be some trick but I'll be darned if I can figure it out. Big hint or spoiler preferably (a big one) PLEASE!!!!!
Press backwards or down to slow your progress out of the water tunnel, and you can land with enough health to survive.
Anyone got a hint on how to get past the four spiders, perchance?
Cheers!

Just sharing.
I will be surprised if everyone here does not know these but:
1. in EMT2, the fountains (like those that energise/bless water arrows against spooks) will give you health and was needed by me in mission 2, for sure!
2. To combat any/all solders (works best with sword dudes and dudettes), If you can find a door/doors that open toward you, you can draw them toward you and if you slam the door such that they are on other side and then take a very small/no step back, and 'open' the door toward you, the guards will stick their heads through the door while searching and you can club them or sword them! It DOES make it easy and cheaty, but sometimes its all you got!!
You can also sword them through walls around the door if you swing just right, a wide swing, otherwise you will 'hit' the door.
Caution: if you open the door more than just a crack, their swords will get through and wack you!! Also, glass doors don't work as well as opaque ones!!
Thief On!!
PS: I don't particularly like running around this mansion in Virtue, kinda boring, not enough guards and the green eyed cyclops are easily evaded/avoided and what exactly is the objective?!
