A Doudtfull Corridor

Can I finish this level without the Lockpicks.

I even

[SPOILER]went to the lower kitchen entrance/exit from the well. The game crashs.

It appears to happen as the spider and zombie fight each other. No matter how slow and quietly I appoach the well, they start going ar it and the game crashs.
I can't get in a position to kill the spider first.

I'm batting 1000 here. Every mission (except the first one)I've had to leave uncompleted. Now I haven't tried ending this one yet, but previous messages suggest that I need all 200 loot in order to progress. Is that true?

It is true that you need all 200 loot if you are playing Virtue in Expert skill. Other skill levels require less loot, so they will not be nearly so hard. It is the last 30 or so that get you. It's mostly little coins worth 5 each. If you are not fond of coin hunts, I suggest that you play this one at a lower skill. If you want a challenge and are prepared to spend a couple of days looking, then go for it. :)
