I have a problem that whenever I try and save any fan mission part way through it doesn't actually save so when it came to the jumping from beam to beam in the cathedral i was panicing that i wouldn't fall
Wow. That's unbelievable. So you have to iron-man every mission? I think there will be places later on that you cannot complete. I suggest you go to the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=153) legacy game technical help forum and ask advice on how to fix this. (I don't know)

There seems to be no reason for the fact I can't save. Some missions I can but most I can't - I know which ones i can't because when I try and save it, it doesn't give the name of the game I'm playing (only the time) and then when I try and load it, it goes to the front screen and I loose where I was.
I have tried to solve the problem by changing files in the thief folder as told by the techies but still no luck - i just have to be brave and IronGirl it
Anyway it adds to the fear and excitment of playing as it's like if you don't get this right, you die and have to start all over again.
I nearly had a heart attack during the invisble walkway over lava bit esspecially because I knew it was near the end lol

There is always a reason. We just don't know it now.
IronGirl will train you to become a very good Thief player and probably a ghoster, too.:) I still think you should start another thread at the tech help forum referenced above. You may get better advice. I could chime in (not that I know the answer). But it is OT to discuss technical solutions here.

Is JIS still around? This mission really needs a loot list and a walkthrough. There are plenty of unanswered questions and the mission is old enough that posting revelations seems appropiate.

JIS suggested in readme of EMT2 that this is his last work in DromEd or something like that. It's really pity that there're not new great missions of his anymore.

There are a whole bunch of areas here that look like they should be accessable, most of them higher up, but not all. It's hard to pinpoint some because the area is so large, but I'll pick a few and maybe somebody can enlighten me.
1. You start off in a large warehouse with various large crates. One of the rooms has a walkway high up. Is that accessable?
2. Further along the way, past the first tavern, you come to an open area with a well in the center. There is an archer patrolling on a walkway overhead and nearby. This whole section looks like you should be able to get up there.
3. Another guard postioned on the roof by the 2nd? tavern and past this guard down the sidewalk there is a grate that you can see a drunk guard enjoying himself. Are these guys just eye candy?
There are other places to enquire about, but this is an old FM, so I'm counting on someone's memory, which must be better than mine, seeing as this is the 2nd or 3rd time playing this.

This is insanity. I had to go back and replay this FM in order to remember how very difficult it was. Now I remember.
I've just started Level 5?, Virtue, and I'm going to take notes on this one, because I know how frustrating it was. If I manage to complete it, I'll post a lootlist. If anyone HAS a lootlist, please post it or point me to it because I haven't found complete info on any levels within this mission anywhere. There are tidbits of help within this thread, but it seems there are more unanswered questions than answers.

Virtue. That's the one with five coins, right? I don't have a list. I have always found them, but I'll have to admit that it is a wee bit difficult. :)

You betcha. I received notice of your response just when I got 190/200 loot. So close. But I got all 5 coins! I must be missing something worth 10 somewhere.
I would post a walkthrough for this level but there is no compass. And to explain where things are without reference to north/south/east/west would be too confusing.
The other loot I snatched include:
Necklace (top library shelf)
Purse (on some dude somewhere)
Goblet (top of bookshelf)
Nugget (top of coffin?)
Gold Bottle (Bar)
4 Statues (secret room with safe)
I guess it would be asking too much for you to remember what I am missing?

You betcha. :) It has been a few years, and I haven't a clue. Good luck!
